3 months agoFirst visit and won’t be our last. The food was amazing as well as the cocktails. We were a little confused with the off tract betting but it was pretty cool watching the horse races. The birria tacos were phenomenal!!! I highly recommend everything.

3 months agoTried this place for the first time. Food was great and very flavorful, seems authentic. Great presentation for food as well as cocktails. Bartender was very helpful and some excellent tasting drinks.

4 months agoA hidden gem in Hillsborough. Loved their delicious foods and drinks. Service is also very good. We were there on a Friday night but it was not crowded at all. Enjoyed their live music. This restaurant made our anniversary more special . Definitely recommended!!

5 months ago100000/10 food was so good and so fresh. We didn’t get to try the drinks but will definitely try them next time. The server was also very great and attentive. Will definitely be coming back.

a year agoAt first I was confused by the appearance. When I walked in I thought it was a jockey bar that only watched horse races. But once we were settled in with our waitress, we realized that the food was amazing. They have plenty of TVs and were more than happy to change the channels to specific sports games that I wanted to watch. Very accommodating and the food was absolutely amazing. I wasn't sure if I was going to get good Mexican food but I was severely underestimating. I will come back here again!!!

a year agoTequila Bar & Grill has taken over the Restaurant/Bar in Favorites on 206 in Hillsborough. They have an extensive menu. Owner Neo is super friendly and exuberant. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Drinks were good (so I heard, I had a seltzer & lime 😉) As soon as we got seated out came the chips & salsa 😋 We had their version of a ceviche & Mexican street corn, sizzling skirt steak platter and strip steak. That was after going back & forth saying oh that sounds great, nope I would like this, em no I’ll have that. Every thing you read sounded better than the next! (I should have taken menu pix so I could remember the names of the dishes) Regardless we’ll be back. Neo told me that he’s turning the back room into a private party room, the atmosphere in here is great. They do still have betting when you walk in to the right, but it’s been separated completely, well except for races on the tv’s at the bar. Other TV’s had other sports on. Today The Tyrone Stackhouse Project were playing which is always a plus, the place was hopping. Great late afternoon lunch/early dinner. We’ll absolutely be back! I only took photo’s of our main dishes - next time I’ll remember to take pic of all!
